White Koji by Kanpai is named after a weird little fungus that is used the Sake making process. When’s it’s doing its thing, it creates cloud like globules and chops up rice into delicious flavours.

The idea was to create a brand mascot that makes this unique product accesible to punters, whilst holding on to the fundamentals of sake and how it’s made. This would be a celebration of process, the best natural ingredients and white Koji.

The identity fizzes and pops with texture and unusual shapes that form the bases for each creative execution.
